About tools suitable for Daiwa Rabin
High-speed rotation not only makes it difficult to maximize the performance of Daiwa Rabin, but using it above the specified maximum rotation speed can also be dangerous. Therefore, we recommend a low-speed, high-torque pneumatic grinder. We can offer exclusive pneumatic grinders for Daiwa Rabin. If using an electric grinder, please operate below the specified maximum rotation speed.
About dressing and truing rubber grinding stones
If shape or dimensional accuracy is not critical, commercially available vitrified or similar square stones (bricks) can be used easily.
For maintaining a certain precision, we recommend using a diamond electroplated rotary dresser.
About processing various shapes
Like dressing, shape processing can be easily done with bricks or similar tools.
For complex shapes or high-precision processing, a diamond electroplated rotary dresser can be used.
About heat dissipation and cooling
In cases of large contact area, high load, or continuous use, excessive heat can reduce rubber strength and may cause breakage or accidents. In such cases,
please use commonly used coolants or cooling water.
Do rubber grinding stones wear out quickly?
Even like car tires, rubber with a well-designed formulation has excellent wear resistance. If the workpiece is not too rough and the grinding stone material and usage conditions are properly set, the lifespan can exceed that of conventional grinding stones.
